General Information
The conference From Banach Spaces to Frame Theory and Applications will take place at the Norbert Wiener Center at the University of Maryland, College Park, from May 20–22, 2010. This conference is dedicated to honor Professor Pete Casazza on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
Pete Casazza has made significant contributions to Banach Space Theory as well as pioneering the area of Frame Theory. Currently, one main focus of his work is on the application-oriented design of frames. This conference shall therefore encompass both areas, Banach Space Theory as well as Frame Theory, by addressing the recent developments in these fields and exhibiting the exciting future of these fascinating research areas. And not only the work of Pete Casazza shall be honored, but also his unique, likable personality, known to all of us.
